Scientific Oversight Group

The purpose of the Scientific Oversight Group (SOG) is to advise the Board of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation on the advancement of its research agenda. The Scientific Oversight Group meets once a year and reviews the totality of IHME’s ongoing research in program areas. The members of the SOG represent a range of high-level scientific expertise. Members serve for a three-year term and can be renewed for an additional one to three years.
