At IHME, Tanja was primarily involved in small area estimation of selected health outcomes and risk factors. In addition, she worked on the estimation of cause-specific mortality fractions and missing data imputation methods.
Following her fellowship at IHME, Tanja became a senior fellow at the German non-profit environmental policy think tank, Ecologic Institute.
