Linda Tran worked on IHME’s Demographics: Mortality and Population research team. While at IHME, Linda assisted with the development of new models to estimate under-5 mortality. Linda’s work at IHME helped to establish new and accurate methods for measuring child mortality.
After her time at IHME, Linda joined a research team at the University of Queensland in Australia, where she is helping to determine health inequities in India, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, and Papua New Guinea by applying the same child mortality models she helped develop at IHME.
