Stella Nordhagen was a Post-Bachelor Fellow at the Harvard Initiative for Global Health and later at IHME. At IHME, Stella worked on the Effective Intervention Coverage research team, analyzing survey data to estimate the worldwide effective coverage of health interventions such as cervical cancer screening, provision of corrective lenses, and maternal health care.
In addition, Stella contributed to the Harvard Initiative for Global Health evaluation of the Mexican health care reform Seguro Popular. Stella’s work at IHME and Harvard contributes to the research on measurement strategies for assessing self-reported health status and methods to predicate future health outcomes. After her time at IHME, Stella pursued a Master’s degree at Cambridge University.
