Monash University in Australia is an energetic and dynamic university committed to quality education, outstanding research, and international engagement.

Since 2010, IHME has been working with Monash University to analyze the costs of health care in Australia, analyzing patient-level outcomes and adjusting for patient-level risks that influence observed outcomes. Our approach using machine learning incorporates these data and produces more accurate predictions of observed outcomes, leading to better risk adjustments and ultimately more insightful analyses.
