Abraham Flaxman, Former Post-Graduate Fellow

Abraham Flaxman

Abraham is from Evanston, IL, and earned a BS in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from Carnegie Mellon University. As a Post-Graduate Fellow, he worked closely with other researchers to make improvements in estimating the Global Burden of Disease. Abraham is expanding upon this research in his current role as Assistant Professor of Global Health at IHME.
