Tanja Srebotnjak, Former Post-Graduate Fellow

Tanja Srebotnjak

Tanja is from Oranienburg, Germany, and earned a master's degree in Statistics with an emphasis on Biostatistics from Dortmund Technical University in Germany and the University of Auckland in New Zealand. She earned her PhD in Environmental Statistics and Policy from Yale University. At IHME, Tanja was primarily involved in small area estimation of selected health outcomes and risk factors. In addition, she worked on the estimation of cause-specific mortality fractions and missing data imputation methods. Following her fellowship at IHME, Tanja became a senior fellow at the German non-profit environmental policy think tank, Ecologic Institute.
