Overview

IHME is part of the University of Washington allowing us to maximize the benefits of an academic and research-focused environment while maintaining scientific independence. Led by Institute director Christopher J L Murray, IHME is overseen by an international board comprised of health experts and leading figures from renowned health agencies/organizations. In the future, an external board of scientific advisors will be established to ensure that the Institute’s products meet rigorous standards of objectivity and scientific validity.
